Overview

Tailor are aggressive and require a rig that prevents bite‑offs and handles fast strikes.

Rig Components

• Wire trace (optional)
• 40–60lb leader
• Ganged hooks (3/0–4/0)
• Running sinker or no sinker

Best Bait

• Pilchards
• Mullet strips
• Herring

Tips

Fish dawn and dusk. Metals and poppers also work extremely well.
